The boys look at the new season of Dr Who

This episode we return after a bit of an absence to talk about X-Men issue 27 (December 1966) 'Re-Enter The Mimic'. Scripted by Roy Thomas and drawn by Werner Roth, this ish sees the return of, you guessed it, The Mimic! While we're at it we also chat about the Guardians of the Galaxy film and the first season of Penny Dreadful. Glad to be back!

This time Matt and Keehar are sent back to school with a special on all things educational. What is the attraction in the school setting? What gets it right and wrong? Classes include:

• The American vs English (vs Japanese!) school paradigm

• “Harem” Anime and School Settings

• Harry Potter, and would you send your child to Hogwarts?

• American cliches - grades, graduations and High School Reunions

• Super-Schooling in it’s many guises.

• Buffy Summers and Veronica Mars; outsider heroes.

• All this and the Dissecting Worlds Bookshelf too!

Feedback for any and all of this welcome to our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/DissectingWorlds), by email to [email protected] or twitter @dissectingwrlds

Welcome once more to The Next Level. In episode 66, Amaechi and Ant round up some of the news that emerged from this year's Cologne based GamesCom convention, including Microsoft and Sony's press conferences. The guys also look at the sheer scale of forthcoming game, No Man's Sky.

Amaechi then digs into a couple of Playstation Network games he's been getting into and Ant follows up with a first impression of the Wii U system including ZombiU and Mario Kart 8.

Welcome to the first of our The Next Level Platform Specials. First up, Ant is joined by Matt, James and Casey to discuss the behemoth of the PC and it's place in gaming.

Over the course of this special, we delve into the reasons why we game on a PC. What game types work better on the PC? We look at the ins and outs of downloadable games: from Steam to Windows Live and back to independent releases. We touch on the cost of maintaining a PC rig, early access games (and their pricing) and much more.

• Ritual and Imagery in Atheistic Universes.
• Personality Cults in Dystopias (and other places)
• Witches and the weight of real or imagined history
• Doctor Who as "Space Jesus"
• Quantum Leap and adding God to your stories
• Some late running feedback on Robot Religion from contributor Ciaron

There are a few audio gremlins we couldn't get fully out, so apologies in advance for that.

We also mention the Druidcast (http://www.druidry.org/druid-way/resources/druidcast-obod-podcast) and the Faculty of Horror (http://www.facultyofhorror.com)
