Join the guys for another swashbuckling into the world of Geekdom
News: Tomb Raider goes back to the beginning,] and Will Smith is being targeted for a modern Robin Hood
Week That Was: The Activate Primer, Jackie Rose, Victorian Undead: Sherlock Holmes vs Zombies, Human Target, Sanctuary and Tron: Legacy
Main: We take a look at Kapow the latest UK comic con to be announced which is being spearheaded by Mark Millar and has already split opinion amongst comic fans. We use this topic as a springboard to not only look at the pros and cons of Kapow but the UK comic con scene in general which has exploded in the last few years.
Amaechi and Ant are joined once more by Barry, back from his sojourn from Podcasting. In the news, the guys discuss the massacre that is Black Ops Multiplayer, the PSP2 and the forthcoming Nathan Drake film.
Barry kicks off the reviews with Call of Duty Black Ops, then he and Ant discuss 007: Bloodstone and compare that with 007: GoldenEye.
Chaos ensues once again as the troublesome team try to uncover the books and authors that had a major role in creating our favourite genres or have since shaken things up, put a new spin on them and generally kept it all fresh. It has been heavily edited, resulting in the sad loss of several interesting conversations about books and authors which were too off-topic or else deserving of far more time and analysis on a seperate podcast. Despite that it's a monster episode and there's loads of silliness which did survive the edit because frankly we'd rather be funny than dull.Miraculously maintaining our sky-high standards (despite the removal of one persons pants and the shaking of another cast-member's member) we plunge back through time to glance at Gilgamesh and rampage right through to 2010 with all the clinically-precise organisation of the average student's sock drawer - and many similarly unsavoury and cheesy elements. The plugathon at the end makes reference to short story The Golden Egg which you can get to by clicking on this link here.Follow the Scrolls news Twitter-feed @Scrollscast That is all.
As one Newge leaves another Nuge must regains his memories and regain the ancient powers of Geekdom to come back ready to face the returning evil that is EPOCH.
As the guys have so much stuff to catch up on there is no main feature this week this a shed load of Week that Was.
A special treat/extra lies in store for those of you with our GS iPhone app . You wil be able to check out the first chapter of The Adventures of Simon Pegg Graphic novel.

Welcome to Stace's last episode.
Sorry it's late, if you want to prevent it being late again then buy Dave a state of the art laptop to replace the tired one he has.
Anyway as it's Stace's last episode I thought we would start and end with a Staceism, keep listening after the end theme.
On this show Dave and Stace talk about the new Green Lantern trailer, Incredible Hulk TV show, they also talk about the Conjour, the upcoming Science Fiction an Fantasy one day literary convention in Leeds, Karen Gillans new casting in a bizaare sounding take on Romeo and Juliet and the return of the podcast Q!Paw

the excellent show Community.
Main: Shows we left behind
This week we take a look at shows we used to watch and then stopped watching and examine what made us say goodbye.
Enjoy
After getting their wrists slapped for being too mean on the last episode, Rich and Flint take a week off and let two much nicer people stand in for them. Despite this expect the same non kiddie friendly language and alcohol abuse you get in the other episodes. Progs 1709 & 1710 are reviewed and the first picture from the Dredd movie is discussed... well, technically its more perved over.
