The Galatians are starting to separate from the truth Paul brought to them because they want to fit in to the group.

Paul has made it clear that we are not justified or defined by what culture we are a part of, but what happens when we try to import elements from our culture into the gospel? So, after I rewatched this video, I realized I didn’t do a great job of connecting the content to the opening scriptures. I’m looking at where Paul says “how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more?” I’m looking at how the principles of the world are pretty worthless, but also where we can extract value from. We should not be getting our primary values from the world.

The Bible makes a big distinction between those who are saved and those who are still in their sins, but how are we supposed to treat those who are outside of the faith?
