While it looks like some alien pod getting ready to decend on the earth, the Ozo is a 360 camera that can be attached to a stand, drone, or other device to stream and record events. DJI added to their new Osmo 4k stabilization gimbal with the Z-axis attachment. For an additional $129, you can get this for your Osmo. It adds the ability to reduce vertical shaking for a more stable video. I took the Osmo with Z-Axis for a run and the iPhone video was very solid. Using the joystick to move the camera around, the new Z-axis can keep you moving. It also allows for re-positioning so you can run the camera across the ground or way up high. Blackberry phones were popular because they were meant for business. Their security features were better than any other phone at the time. Some CEO’s would lose their minds if they didn’t have it. While at SXSW I got to check out the Sony FutureLab and several products that connect us more into the Internet of Things (IoT). From headsets with new earbud designs to interactive tables, and even new ways to game or interact with things. In this video, we look at two items. First is the touch interactive table where you can set down items to pull information right from the page. An overhead projector and sensor recognition with a poliphany of 8 points can move items around, pull text, or simply identify the item placed on the table. I have to admit: I didn’t know who Del Close was. On the same token, you don’t know who many of my inspirations or teachers were. But they shaped my growth in life. That is what Del Close did.
