Mariano and Antonio, co-founders of ADUs Built For You, are two passionate young entrepreneurs going through the 2021 Geekdom Incubator Program. Using their knowledge of architecture and background in construction, this startup is seeking to simplify the process of building Accessory Dwelling Units for San Antonio home owners, while also working to help solve the affordable housing crisis in our community.

Meet Luciano Oviedo, Founder of Tempugo. Luciano is taking part in the 2021 CivTechSA Residency Program in partnership with the City of San Antonio Office of Innovation.

Tempugo's mission is to create disproportionate impact for people and organizations through social innovation action research, products and services at the intersection of emerging yet ethical technologies, novel design thinking methods and techniques and open strategy processes and practices.

Alberto Pina is the co-founder of Braustin Homes, one of the fastest growing startups operating at Geekdom. His marketing expertise and commitment to always #BeHelpful has led him to become a mentor for startups participating in our programs and a member of Geekdom's Board of Directors.

Alberto and his brother Jason created Braustin Homes in the shared community space on the 8th floor with a small sales team. They now occupy one of our biggest offices and have a team of close to 30 people.

In November of 2020, Braustin Homes closed a $1.9M seed round to support the manufactured housing company’s expansion of its innovative, high-tech dealerships.

Sean Wen is the co-founder of Pinch Boil House & Curry Boys BBQ. Hear about Sean's journey from working at a startup, making his way over to Geekdom, to chasing his dream and opening two San Antonio restaurants that have quickly become local favorites.

David Jones left a major law firm to start his own legal practice focused on helping the San Antonio tech ecosystem. David was awarded Geekdom's Long Live the Geek award for the work he's done and continues to do for the Geekdom community and the downtown tech ecosystem.

Gabe Ruiz and Taylor Henry are best friends and co-founders of StackIQ. StackIQ is an ed-tech platform that allows users to "try on" different career paths until they find what is right for them. There has always been two options for young adults exiting their time in high school: get a job or go to college. Now there's a third option with StackIQ.

Meet Ashley Bird, the Founder of Marro, a children's edutainment platform focused on Montessori-inspired educational content. Ashley identified that there isn't necessarily a problem with children's screen time but with the content that they are consuming.
