A new version of Civilazation is being made for classroom use. We talk about our hopes for the game. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild needs to sell 2 million copies to break even. Can it do it? Also a remastered collection of the BioShock games is on the way, and we (by we, we mean Nicole) have a necessary Game of Thrones moment to celebrate the end of the awesome season.

  • Episode 58: It's Halo, Only Cuter
    Stephen and Linda address the burning question on all gamers' minds. Why can't Link be a girl? During the E3 reveal of the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the game's producer got caught up answering that tricky question. Stephen also gives loads of tips for getting started playing Overwatch, which Linda is currently doing. We also talk about how Criterion, who's known for making racing games, is now working on a Star Wars game. Plus, the final playset for Disney Infinity was released this week, to coincide with its film counterpart, Finding Dory.

    The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is one of the biggest events in video games. The show is held in Los Angeles every June and this year's show just happened. As is always the case with the show, lots of news and game announcements were made. We talk about games and other stuff from the big three: Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft. We also talk about the news from some of the biggest developers, inlcuding Electronic Arts, Bethesda, Ubisoft and Square Enix. The big news in our opinion - The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and a new God of War.

    E3 is next week! We talk about what we know and what we think will be coming out of the many press conferences that will be preceding the start of the actual show. Electonic Arts, Bethesda, Microsoft, Ubisoft, Sony, and Nintendo will all be revealing their upcoming games in the days before the show floor opens. We also talk about Injustice 2, the new trailer for that Kingdom Hearts game with the really long name, Overwatch updates and what we've been playing.

    The big news this week is the new Skylanders game announcement. It's called Skylanders Imaginators and it lets you create your own Skylanders. We talk about the gameplay and businness potential of the new game. Yet another digital collectible card game is in the works. This one's from former Lionhead developers and it's based in the Fable universe. Does it or any of the many other games stand a chance against Hearthstone? No Man's Sky has been delayed and gamers don't like that very much. Plus Microsoft has dropped the price on Xbox One, but it's still a good idea to wait before buying. We'll tell you why.
