James Kerwin writer and director on such projects as "Yesterday Was a Lie" and "Star Trek Continues" comes back to catch us up on his latest projects.

the conversation goes from filmmaking to fandom (ie whats up with the Klingons on Star Trek Discovery) and then time travel/parallel universes.  James is a scary smart guy who is well versed in not just films and film lore, but astrophysics and cosmology.

Evan Quiring is a renaissance man. he not only writes but illustrates and letters the book "Lucha Mystery" a comic about wrestlers with superpowers.  he tells us how he got interested in comics, and how he hooked up with the guys at Scattered Comics, how he got into music and then we talk about pro wrestling.

Evan shares a lot of his journey becoming an artist, getting published and just being a geek-ish guy in Winnipeg.

After a rough several weeks I am almost back to normal and had a great interview with Brian King. So here it is.

Brian and Jeremy talk acting, comic book movies, DC vs. Marvel, The Last Jedi and every other nerdy topic you can cover.  As they talk they also cover Brian King's career and his path to becoming an actor.

About Brian King

Brian King was born and raised in Chicago. After graduating from Columbia College he went on to work as a copywriter in the Chicago advertising community for 10 years while also pursuing his acting career. He left his job in 2010 to act full-time starring in over 40 commercials from Budweiser to KFC while landing roles on TV shows such as PRISON BREAK, LEVERAGE, DETROIT 187, MOB DOCTOR, CRISIS, CHICAGO FIRE, and EMPIRE. He also played the recurring role of “Chuck” on the STARZ series BOSS starring Kelsey Grammar. Most recently he’s been seen in movies MAN OF STEEL and A LIGHT BENEATH THEIR FEET while continuing to perform in smaller independent movies. He has also starred in three shows at Chicago’s acclaimed STEPPENWOLF THEATRE. Currently, he plays Detective Wallace on the new SHOWTIME hit THE CHI. Later this year you can see him in director Steve McQueen’s new movie WIDOWS starring Viola Davis, Liam Neeson, and Colin Farrell.
