Geekishly Toku Podcast

Well after an actual unexpected unintended hiatus we are back with our first episode in 2016. After all Shawn was busy being "sick" and all. But now that he fell through a crack in his ceiling we finally get around to our live commentary of Kamen Rider Gaim Gaiden 2 the Duke and Knuckle Experience. It's not called that? Oh my apologies. Everything seemed to be going well and then Jon experienced some difficulties a few times causing them change it up a bit. They finish up by talking about the special and whatever else they came up with. Honestly it's an entertaining listen. Hopefully Shawn is ok after all this. They had to wrap up due to some complications. Hope you enjoy and here's to another year of shenanigans! Yes we know this was supposed to be for last week, and yes we know how it might disrupt you. But because of school for Shawn this had to be done. Anyways this time Jon and Shawn talk a bunch of geek news; video games, movies, and even tv shows before wrapping up the season finale of Doctor Who, mid season finales of SHIELD and Flarrow with a hint of Supergirl goodness. Then the fastest Toku section ever begins with toy news (shocking), and then the season finale/Christmas episodes of Dino Charge followed by Toku news and a quick wrap up of Super Hero Time and Dekaranger. Shawn actually went off on a few tangents this week as well so hope you all enjoy! Stay tuned for your regularly scheduled programming next week! This time Jon and Shawn are having strange weeks. Shawn is in two locations again and no one knows why. They talk about one news item about Agent Carter/Shield before diving into comic book TV recaps with some goofiness thrown in. They finally talk SHIELD and Supergirl after Shawn's slacking before touching on Flarrow. Flash Forward to Toku and oh no! Fury and Sledge have trapped Shawn in a closet! Jon cracks some jokes right before they tackle Dino Charge in New Zealand! More news and cryptic nonsense before Shawn makes up a new word, again. And they wrap it all up with why Ninninger is poopy.

In this week's episode Jon and Shawn Geek out about Star Wars news and Flarrow featuring the world's best Spiritual Advisor with a few tangential rambles included. Then after a long break they reconvene to discuss Toku with Dino Charge episodes 16-17 followed up by some unsurprising movie news. They finish up with some Super Hero Time News and discuss the one episode of Ninninger (ugh!) and Ghost with a hint of the Kamen Rider Yongou special also with a healthy blend of tangents and rambles. Did you get the episode title yet? Members: Jon: @FuuMixALot Shawn: @SnarkyShawn Podcast: Twitter: @GeekTokuPod Facebook: Geekishly Toku Podcast Blog: http://geektokupod.blogspot.com/

Jon's back! So back to the normal programming. We talk Star Wars, Marvel TV, and movies as well as DCTV news with Flash and Arrow with just a hint of Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl. Not to mention Back to the Future day and self tying Nike's. Then on the toku side we talk Power Ranger casting news that the fandom will be in an uproar about. Ghost scans showed up and Shawn's internet dropped him into the void before we get a bit of a look at Necrom, and the Ghost Drive movie! Shawn discusses the Nonsense that is Ninninger to Jon before the Yoshi cameo that lasted 30 seconds. They both talk about Ghost and Green Arrow again because why not and end the discussion with Dino Charge recaps. Including the not so spooky Halloween episode. Warning the Tangents are in Full Throttle this time! Stay tuned for next time! Might actually be spooky. Shawn's alone this time. Jon wasn't feeling too hot. This time around Shawn talks about news for Marvel and recaps Agents of SHIELD as well as the new Guardians of the Galaxy animated series. Then he talks about Doctor Who and confuses himself as always before shifting over to Flash and Arrow recaps. Moving over to Toku Shawn talks about the new movie news, the Dino Charge Halloween Special, and Episode recap then goes into Ninninger news and recap with an announcement of next year's Sentai. And finally Shawn gives Rider news both Drive and Ghost news before diving into the finale of Drive and the beginning of Ghost (episode title make sense yet?). Without Jon's banter the episode is short so hope you enjoy!
