  • Late to the Party Book Club - Episode 20 - Wolverine Origin

To completely wrap up our stint with our favorite adamantium clad anti-hero, we read Wolverine Origin (2001). This mini series was a nice change of pace from the other X-Men collections we've read during our Summer of X series. Both Geeks really enjoyed going all the way back to the late 1800s to learn more about James Howlett.

We've finished all the team driven films and are embarking on the individual characters now. We're kicking it off with the first of the Wolverine trilogy. Jasmin has seen this film more times than she can count, but this is only Mark's second viewing. Will this have any bearing on the Geek's rating?

  • Episode 162 - X-men: Dark Phoenix (2019) Review

Call it a casualty of the merger if you'd like, but Dark Phoenix is the second to last film in this age of X-Men as lead by Fox. We definitely dig into some of the behind the scenes drama with this one, but where does it fall on our ranking of X-films so far? You've got to tune in to find out!
