Geeks with Kids

Band of merry adventurers? Check. Expendable NPCs? Check! It's time to roll!!!

Originally released on the Playstation 5 on April 30, 2021, HouseMarque's third-person bullet-hell roguelike  "Returnal" finally hit the PC on February 15th, 2023.

The game follows Selene Vassos, an astronaut who lands on the planet Atropos in search of the mysterious "White Shadow" signal and finds herself trapped in a time loop in which each loop, more and more secrets are revealed.

Join the Geeks and special guest PascalCat as they chat about whether PC version lives up to the PS5’s original awesomeness.

All this and more on this week's Geeks with Kids.

I WOULD LIKE TO RAGE!!! The Geeks turn to Critters as they talk about the latest season of Critical Role's "The Legend of Vox Machina."

How does the second season of the Kickstarter phenomenon compare? What were our favourite parts? And will we finally convince Hawk to watch the original?

The Geeks love Naughty Dog's The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part II  but how does the HBO adaptation fair?

Created for HBO by Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and Naughty Dog's Neil  Druckmann, The Last of Us follows Joel and Ellie, a pair connected through the harshness of the world they live in, as they are forced to  endure brutal circumstances and ruthless killers on a trek across a  post-outbreak America.

I've got another confession to make,

Be it movie or TV show, or game played?

Is someone getting the best, the best, the best

We're baaaaaack!

The ship is badly damaged but our heroes are making the most of it. Well everyone except for the bard. Will our would-be heroes finally find a  port and fix their ship?
