Filmmaker John Swab arrives on Geekscape with his new crime noir 'One Day As A Lion'! Written by and starring Scott Caan, the movie features a hapless criminal who is trying to make enough money for he and his son to skip town for good. Too bad he's run afoul of local gangsters played by J.K. Simmons, Frank Grillo and more! John and I get real film nerdy as we talk about lens choices, setting up framing and composition on a 17-day indie shoot, balancing the tone of a noir story with some comedy and lots more! Enjoy!
