Mercury and Neptune caution against getting on our hobby horses, and Mercury kicks off a protracted stay in Capricorn. And, Venus visits the South Node for a review of past relationships and surprises Pluto with her strength. Plus: We celebrate our Fourth PodBirthday! [1:48] Moon Report! The Full Moon at 04º51’ Gemini (Nov. 27, 1:16 am PST) finds the Sun and Mars together in early Sagittarius, opposing the Moon, with all three square Saturn in a T-square formation. The Sabian symbol for this Full Moon is 5 Gemini, A radical magazine. The symbol for the Sun is 5 Sagittarius, An old owl up a tree.

[3:44] The T-square is an energetic formation involving planets in three signs of the same modality (cardinal, fixed, or mutable).

[6:12] Gemini is the questioning moon, and its lighter quality offers a respite from the intensity that began with the Scorpio New Moon.

[6:38] This is the Full Moon in a Lunar Phase Family Cycle (LPFC) that began at the May 30, 2022 New Moon at 09º03’ Gemini. The First Quarter in this LPFC was on Feb. 27, 2023, and the Last Quarter is on August 26, 2024.

[8:04] Void-of-Course (VOC) Moon periods. On Nov. 28, the Moon in Gemini opposes Mercury, is VOC for almost six hours, then enters Cancer (10:54 pm PDT).

[9:43] On Dec. 1, the Moon in Cancer opposes Pluto (5:07 am PST). It’s VOC for about three hours, then enters Leo (8:00 am PST).

[10:50] The Moon in Leeeeeoooo sextiles Venus on Dec. 3 (6:11 pm PST). It's VOC for about an hour and a half, then enters Virgo (7:50 pm).

[11:59] On Nov. 27 (5:28 am PST), Mercury squares Neptune at 24º54’ Sagittarius-Pisces. Mercury is on the Sabian symbol 25 Sagittarius, A chubby boy on a hobby horse. A reminder to temper strong opinions with kindness and empathy.

[14:10] Venus opposes the North Node of the Moon on Nov. 29 (9:16 am PST) at 24º04’ Libra and Aries. Venus is on the Sabian symbol, 25 Libra, Information in the symbol of an autumn leaf.

[14:59] In the symbol for Venus, the autumn leaf says nothing lasts forever, but we can be beautiful to the very end. Venus going over the South Node can also summon important people, if only in memory.

[17:17] Mercury enters Capricorn on Dec. 1 (6:31 am PST) for an extended stay. Mercury is retrograde Dec. 12, 2023-Jan. 1, 2024, and reenters Sagittarius between Dec. 22, 2023-Jan. 13, 2024, when it reenters Capricorn until Feb. 4, 2024.

[17:50] Mercury in pragmatic, linear, schedule driven Capricorn can turn all those Mercury in Sagittarius ideas into something real.

[19:37] Mercury sextiles Saturn on Dec. 2 (7:27 am PST) at 01°12’ Capricorn-Pisces.

[21:02] Venus squares Pluto on Dec. 3 (5:29 am PST) at 28°33’ Libra-Capricorn.
