We are living in a time where many love the idea of self. In fact, this generation is proudly known by many as the "selfie" generation. Even in our modern Church culture, many emphasize "me" "my" and "I" instead of "thee" and "thy" (The Lord Jesus Christ) when describing ministry and Church. This also extends to the worship culture of the Church, where it is commonplace to hear phrases like "That was great worship today" or "The worship in that Church wasn't really my style" Although these phrases may seem harmless to most, there is a huge misunderstanding concerning what "worship" as described in the Bible truly is. Is "worship' synonymous with excellent singing and musicianship, a preferred genre of music, or passionate clapping, shouting, and dancing, or is there a much deeper and more significant meaning that is extremely important for us to understand? Let's talk about it..

Many families today are very fearful because of the current state of the world we live in. In many nations, the streets are full of massive protests by thousands of extremists in countless cities across the globe with increasing violent rhetoric and threats if their demands are not met. We see wars, rumors of wars, pestilence, natural disasters, unrest, riots, and persecution in increasing measure just as the Holy Scriptures predict. We are even seeing what the Bible refers to as "nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and many being handed over to persecution, and some, even unto death." These are all characteristics of severe birth pangs, With all this bad news we must not give in to fear. There is Good News in the midst of these dark times! Let's talk about it..

Every day, we see potential end-time world events being paraded in the news media. Such headlines depict wars, rumors of wars, pestilence, natural disasters, unrest, riots, and persecution in many nations. Interestingly enough, we are also in the Hebrew month of Cheshvan, a bitter time throughout history for the Jewish people. Are ministers actually interviewing demons and even holding lengthy conversations with them during deliverance sessions? Is the Church listening to demons and hoping that "the enemy will expose himself," as many deliverance ministers are quoting today? Did the Lord Jesus Christ tell His followers to rejoice that the demonic spirits were subject to His Authority, or did He direct the disciples to emphasize and celebrate other Kingdom Matters more? How does the Lord feel about sexual immorality? God has expressed his heart unmistakably in Scripture. Has He changed His mind because of our generation's anger or confusion concerning biblical morality? No! Full stop. Do you hear many messages preached these days forbidding sexual immorality while promoting a life of holiness and sexual purity? Me neither. And what happened to the Gospel that invites the sinner to repent and follow Jesus Christ to and through the cross? Has the cross lost its place and true definition in the modern Church age? Has the understanding of the cross been diluted to become a mere decoration and a fashion accessory in the contemporary Church culture? Many have decided these concepts are too offensive, outdated, or argumentative to discuss. Well, it's time to talk about it. Let's go!

Whether we want to call it revival or awakening, or just an immense outpouring of The Holy Spirit, something is happening at Asbury University in Kentucky and on the campuses of many other college universities and worship and prayer gatherings across America. At nearly the same time, a movie called "Jesus Revolution" depicting the Jesus People Movement of the late 1960s and early 1970s is on the big screen everywhere in movie theaters. Some call this a coincidence; others believe it confirms a prophetic parallel between the present time and the late 1960s and early 70s.

Regardless of such speculation, two things are crystal clear; awakening is first an admission that someone or something is asleep, and revival is first an admission that someone or something is dead. Is that what we are admitting? Are we acknowledging that much of what we call "The Church" is asleep? Are we acknowledging that much of what we call "The Church" is dead religious practice? Further, is The Lord sending us a message through what is happening in America? Could He be telling us that it's TIME TO WAKE UP? Could He be telling us that the Church is dead as we know it and WE NEED TO BE REVIVED? Could He be indicating that a MASSIVE CHANGE is needed?

I see THE LORD calling us OUT and calling us to REPENTANCE. If THE CHURCH is OBEDIENT in REPENTING and RETURNING TO THEIR FIRST LOVE - JESUS CHRIST,  a NEW JESUS REVOLUTION will BREAK OUT and SWEEP ALL ACROSS the GLOBE. The result will be HEALING OF THE LAND. Do you see it too? Are you ready to do your part? 

Remember the promise the Lord gave His people...

"if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." - 2 Chronicles 7:14

Recently, I had a profound and vivid dream. In this dream, our team was leaving a restaurant, and as we walked out the door, standing in front of us was a man waiting to be seated. This individual appeared to be in severe pain. He had been severely injured, and his right arm was secured in a sling. I heard the Lord say, “Lay hands on that man,” and without hesitation, after receiving permission from the man, I laid my hands on him. This man seemed very skeptical that anything supernatural would happen; however, as soon as I touched his arm...

Although many churchgoers have become accustomed to God moving in a certain way in the Church House on a Sunday morning or during a mid-week service, the Lord is calling His Sons and Daughters to understand that He will move according to His Perfect Will everywhere He directs His Church to go. Due to the current economic situation in many nations, everything costs more money. Companies are struggling to pay their employees a competitive wage because of rising inflation and increased cost of living. Fortune 500 companies are laying off hundreds or even thousands of employees to offset the losses they are taking. Predictions of agricultural yield being low again this year are creating growing concerns about more food shortages in the near future. And while all of this is transpiring, the wars and rumors of wars continue in multiple nations. These days many individuals are depressed and frustrated, and many seem to have lost hope of their quality of life improving. Is this something you can relate to? Do you feel that way? We stepped into the New Year just a few weeks ago, and already, many have been seeking the Lord like never before concerning the new season. Some do this by taking a break from social media, going away, and/or fasting, and praying. As 2022 has come to a close, the Lord has shown many of His Sons and Daughters glimpses concerning 2023. In 1 Corinthians 13:9-13 through the leading of the Holy Spirit, the Apostle Paul teaches us that as prophetic people, we will see and prophesy in part. In other words, no individual sees the entire picture or grasps the interpretation or application of it themself. However, as the Church works together, especially the Five Fold Ministry gifts, a common thread should emerge where one can identify the Lord unveiling a larger, more vivid picture as He speaks through multiple vessels. As piece after piece of the puzzle is revealed, many throughout the Body of Christ ponder what the Lord is saying, ensuring that the word coming forth from each vessel lines up with Scripture. Together, the Church begins to see and hear what the Spirit of God is revealing to the Church for such a time as this.
