In this season finale episode, Najiba speaks to the power of expressing gratitude in our daily lives. She highlights the ways in which societal constructs constantly push us to want more, do more, etc (which at it's core is not innately problematic) but as a result, we often disregard the importance of basking in the present and honouring what we have called into our lives already. Najiba also addresses how gratitude can be synonymous with rest, and how liberating that realization and act can be. She also connects the ways in which gratitude is an elevated act of choice that reconfirms for each of us our autonomy, our ability to make decisions in alignment with our truth, and our own personal power.

In addition, Najiba shares her gratitude for her personal journey of building and birthing Gems of Jupiter into the world, and her gratitude for each of you. The listeners who tuned in every week and showed Gems of Jupiter so much love and attention. Najiba also touches on what to expect next season and how her aim is for the listeners to learn a new side of her and for all of you to journey deeper with her, together.

As beautiful, joyous, and light-filled as life can be, the reality of the darker, more painful aspects still exists. This week, Najiba delves into the topic of "grief." A topic most commonly associated with death and loss (of which Najiba is no stranger) but also a topic that is nuanced and can reveal itself within many different situations along our individual journeys. Therefore, this episode encourages you (with kindness and compassion) to honour the ways in which you still need to grieve so that you can feel something else. 

None of us are exempt from experiencing grief and how each of us choose to confront our grief is very personal. However, Najiba hopes that by sharing her intimate relationship with grief and the ways in which she reframed her mindset about grief; you will feel seen, heard, and reminded that you are not alone. Because becoming one with your grief, even when it brings you to your knees, provides you the opportunity to learn, expand, and most importantly, let go.

This week Najiba brings back a topic from the very first episode, the self. Only this time she’s joined by a very special guest who expands and explores the self in her own unique way. Located in Toronto, Ontario, Chanelle Lobo is the founder of Self Centered. A therapeutic life coaching & healing practice that focuses on coming home to self and bringing the essence of who you are out into the external world. Chanelle also incorporates a combination of modalities into her practice such as Reiki, NLP, EFT, Hypnotherapy, and CBT to most holistically serve her clients (& Najiba is one of them!). 

In this heart-centred conversation, Chanelle shares why she’s made it her life’s work to help others (and herself) explore the full expression of who they are. She shares her personal experiences with trusting herself and silencing the distracting noise of stereotypes/unsupportive narratives she had internalized. Chanelle also dives deep into the importance of facing our triggers and how leaning into the uncomfortable leads to valuable lessons about what parts of us still require healing. She outlines boundaries and the importance of using them to self-check where we may be over-extending or impeding on the journey of others. Chanelle also highlights and expresses valuable sentiments about spirit, connection to source, spirituality, and how she’s learned that only prioritizing one aspect of mental health does a huge disservice to the totality of our human expression. If you needed a reminder to prioritize yourself, this episode is the gentle push to do so.

Najiba is everything, all at once, all the time, and so are you. Sound confusing? It shouldn't be. This week Najiba speaks to her lived experience as a dynamic being with a multitude of layers to her personality and self expression. Embracing the many aspects of her character and personhood have led Najiba to really understand who she is and by extension surround herself with people, places (and things) that amplify who she is. However, living outside of conventional boxes, labels and stereotypes can sometimes be met with fear, intimidation, and misunderstanding, and Najiba is no stranger to this reality. 

Throughout the episode Najiba sheds light on how she came to accept who she is (intellectual, sensual, wild, etc) in order to walk in her truth. She also lends her advice on how you can do the same, and highlights that when we own who we are (and do us), by extension we extend grace for others to do their thing too.

Cultivating and preserving personal autonomy is the most fundamental key to living a meaningful life. In this episode Najiba goes deep with a multifaceted creator, free-spirit, and dreamer who has come through many channels and realms to arrive at the person she is today. Located in Montreal Canada, Shiva is a certified NLP/EFT practitioner, clinical hypnotherapist, wellness advocate, founder of @yourinnershift, co-owner of @2bloftstudio.mtl, and so much more!  

During our discussion, Shiva shares how her upbringing taught her that adaptability is a strength but also the importance of finding her balance so that she was not easily influenced by others; ensuring that she was showing up in her truest form. She also pays homage to the woman that birthed her and highlights how pivotal it is to have a strong foundation/support system that sees you and believes in your power even when you find it difficult to do the same for yourself.  

Shiva also takes us on the journey to her spiritual awakening (or "re-awakening" as she describes it) and how one of the most difficult times of her life became one of her most liberating experiences which resulted in a shift to her perspective and personhood that brought her back to source. Energetic boundaries, preserving wellness, and honouring oneself are at the core of this conversation. As is Shiva's reminder that our soul is always the blueprint to our ultimate destiny.

Located in Calgary Canada, Mecoh uses her camera as a vessel to showcase the realities of human expression, interaction, and culture. Vulnerability, leading with her heart, and aligned purpose are all part of Mecoh’s practice. In this conversation she shares how she finally said “yes” to her passion, carved out her own path, and the importance of starting even when you don’t have all the “tools.” Mecoh also highlights why it’s important for her work to go beyond beautiful imagery, tell real stories, and give light to those often left in the shadows.

This week Najiba is joined by Toronto based entrepreneur and small-business owner Yahan Mensah aka “The Thirteen.” Yahan launched the natural body care line (MaamiSkyn) in February of 2021 with the vision to create body care products that not only make people look and feel good; but also to serve as a form of empowerment, cultural connection, and showcasing her roots. 

Body care extends beyond the surface, and throughout the episode Yahan reiterates this sentiment by discussing the importance of personalizing self care; Identifying how natural body care serves as both a form of acceptance/healing for the skin we are in, and how reconnecting to/reaffirming her inner child has allowed her to walk in her power and purpose as the woman and business owner she is today.
