In Episode 6 The Brothers High look back at the 80s classic Sixteen Candles.  We couldn't think of a better movie to choose for our first movie review!  Part One focuses on John Hughes; the creative, driving force behind the entire project.  Learn how Hughes got the idea to write Sixteen Candles and why all of his movies were shot in and around Chicago.  We absolutely loved this movie and hope you agree that it's one of the defining voices of our generation.  Thanks for tuning in to Gen X Playback!

What do think when you hear the word "Disco?"  Whether you loved it or hated it, Gen Xers would have to agree that Disco ruled the world in the mid to late '70s.  C'mon, you probably danced or roller skated to Rod Stewart's "Do ya think I'm Sexy?"  In Episode 5, the Brothers High take a deep dive into the origin of dance music which came to be known as Disco, including it's demise.  Like a shooting star, follow Disco's quick ascension and meteoric decline right here on Gen X Playback!  Disco...short lived but lasted longer than the TV show "Makin' It!"
