Gen Xer’s are facing issues of retirement, menopause,  boomerang children, and grandparenting.  Additionally, while juggling these things, many of us are helping to navigate end of life issues for our boomer parents.  Sometimes it all feels like too much.  My 3 guests this week have all dealt with caretaking of their parents at different stages.  Vanessa Graziano talked with me about moving her parents in and out of care facilities before, during, and after the covid disaster.  James Clifford described the process of caretaking with his siblings and re-discovering his mother during her last days.   Ivy Villegas, possibly the bravest of all, moved in with her elderly parents and continues to help care for her 101 year old mother.  If you’re feeling overwhelmed or frustrated by an elderly parent, you’re in good company.  

 For this week’s episode, we have a mix of new and previously released segments.   My chat with Ivy Villegas about empty nesting and the spoiling of her dog made me think that a re-release of our very first interview would be a good pairing.  Our Gen X TrustFall debut episode featured Vanessa Graciano and her midlife career change from technology to animal communication.   A whole episode dedicated to dogs?
