Kicking things off in 2019, Gen sits down with guest host Jen Skulander from NZ heavy band Devilskin, ahead of their tour supporting Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators. In a banter-fuelled yet rich chat, the two delve into shooting their latest music video, as well as the group's brand new track 'Endo' - Jen cracks open her struggles with endometriosis, a common but often debilitating condition in women causing severe period pain, heavy bleeding and fatigue among other symptoms.

Gen approached Michelle in the wake of recent events, where the editor of European-based mag Metal Blast, photographer and attorney J. Salmeron was banned from any future Arch Enemy shows after a shop used one of his images without crediting him.

This intimate chat shares Michelle's perspective on the incident, her stance on intellectual rights to property, and the wider push to see perceptions of music photography shift in terms of being a genuine career path.

'Her Sound, Her Story' is one of 2018's most powerful documentaries, reflecting on the stories of six decades of female Australian artists.
