Jarrod and Damo discuss their reactions to Adam Sandler’s tour de force performance in Josh and Benny Safdie’s Uncut Gems which premieres on Netflix on January 31st. They also discuss Josh and Benny Safdie’s previous effort Good Time, which stars Robert Pattinson in a similarly incendiary role. Despite getting some of the best notices he’s ever received from critics, Sandler didn’t make the 2020 Oscar cut for his turn in Uncut Gems but nevertheless, it’s by far the best performance he’s given…at least that’s what Jarrod thinks. Damo on the other hand…
