It’s an all-BFM affair in this episode of A Bit of Culture, with Julian Yap and Sim Wie Boon accompanying Kam as he muses about his relationship with Napoleon and how it changes from admiration to slight disgust. Prior to that, Julian talks about spoiler culture, in light of the recently released Spider-Man: No Way Home and how people have been trying to avoid spoilers, or spoiling it for others, intentionally. In the second part of the conversation, Sim ponders about the things that we used to do, but we don’t do anymore, such as memorising phone numbers and roads.

The week started off with traffic jams and confusion at tolls along the North South Expressway, with some lanes being switched to RFID lanes as part of a larger transition to the system. Following that, we’re taking a closer look at our tolls and highways. Firstly, we examined whether our current system is serving us, and what needs to change. Then, we discuss other long-distance options we should be looking at, aside from highways.

Parents can now register their kids aged 5-11 on MySejahtera for the COVID-19 vaccination, which will be rolled out in February. But many parents are worried about the safety of administering the Pfizer mRNA vaccine among children so young, and whether it’s necessary to subject them to any potential risks and side effects.
