With the recent devastating floods, and the possibility of continuing bad weather, we get some insight on what we can do to keep as safe as possible in the event of a flood.

The unprecedented floods that hit many states in Peninsula Malaysia over the weekend have raised concerns about health risks faced by people who have been affected and those at flood relief centres. Professor Dr Nazimah Idris, Medical Director, IMU Healthcare & EXCO, Mercy Malaysia, takes us through the possible health concerns, and how to prevent diseases and infections from spreading.

来到年底封关前的圣诞节行情，市场不像以往那么High有所谓的庆祝的行情，而且最近市场波动性比较大。我们看到星期一，国际市场因为Omicron进一步恶化，有明显的跌幅，但隔天又突然大涨，风险偏好有所回潮。美股三大指数收盘都涨超过1%，其中市场心心念念的科技股的指标，也就是纳斯达克指数收盘更是涨超过2%。

但最近市场讨论最热烈的，莫过于最近土耳其的“经济实验”，因为当地的通膨不断恶化，通膨率已经超过两成，但当地政府并不是升息阻止通膨恶化，而是疯狂降息，希望能够透过降低利率的手段推动出口和就业发展。

可是这个做法似乎和现实的层面有点背道而驰，因为土耳其央行降息，导致他们的货币也就是“里拉”不断贬值，甚至导致高度依赖进口产品的企业面临更高的成本，甚至将成本转移给消费者。

同时，我们也看到土耳其的股市、债市还有汇市都是三杀，其中股市已经是连续三个交易日触发熔断机制，整体金融市场暗淡无光。

至于国内，

银河联昌证券指出，初步评估显示，港口营运商、制造商、种植和旅游业可能会受到最近水灾的影响。

其中，物流挑战和材料短缺可能会更加恶化，因水灾令原本已拥堵的港口营运情况变得更糟。
