While a cardiac arrest in someone who is young, healthy and doesn’t have any underlying heart condition is rare, there is the small possibility that it could happen. To find out what explains these situations and what can be done to improve the person’s chances of survival when it happens, we’re joined by Dato’ Dr Yap Yee Guan, consultant interventional cardiologist from Sunway Medical Centre.
It's been over a year since the Shah Alam City Council proposed to build a road right across the Shah Alam Community Forest. Two hectares of pristine rainforest, hundreds of trees and species, and the forest trails used and loved by many on a daily basis, destroyed forever - for a single road. The battle between the community and state government over this forest continues, and we catch up with the folks from the Shah Alam Community Forest (SACF) Society, Alicia Teoh (Founder & Secretary) and Dr Teckwyn Lim (Treasurer), to get updates on the matter. We also look at the study which has found that the area had been wrongly designated as development land, and the state government's response to that.

After months of delays and poor reasoning, finally the BN/PN coalition, this time lead by Ismail Sabri Yaakob, announced that UNDI 18 will be implemented swiftly. Law Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar mentioned that The Election Commission (EC) will proceed with implementing the lowering of voting age from 21 to 18 as ordered by a High Court, without having to wait for the government to decide if it will appeal against the decision. On top of that, on the 29th of September, the Election Commission also notified soon-to-be voters to verify their personal information for the Pre-Registration of Automatic Voters (SPPA) that will be held from October 1 until October 31. Qyira Yusri, Co-Founder of UNDI 18, joins us to discuss.
