The Pit Stop Community Cafe is a social enterprise working towards solutions for homelessness, urban poverty, and hunger, among others, in our capital city. Since 2016, they’ve been providing both hot meals and job training for people from the homeless and urban poor communities in KL, but like many social enterprises and soup kitchens, the past 15 months have not been easy for them. Yet, they have been soldiering on to continue the work that they do, and to find out more about that and how people can lend a helping hand, we speak to the co-founders of Pit Stop Community Cafe, Joycelyn Lee and Andrea Tan.

We speak to Nor Arlene Tan, the co-director of "Selfie with The Prime Minister" which is a short film about Ziaur Rahman, a Rohingya refugee who grew up in a refugee camp and was trafficked seven times by human traffickers, before ending up in Malaysia. The film is a short look into his day-to-day life as a refugee in Malaysia, and his quest for normalcy and freedom.

Instead of nose swabs and test tubes, there may be a faster way to determine Covid-19 infections. In a study conducted in the UK, dogs were able to detect Covid-19 on clothing worn by infected people with up to 94.3% sensitivity.
