A Bit of Culture returns again this week, with Na’a Murad and Dhanya Nair joining Kam Raslan on the show. Dhanya gets the ball rolling with a thematic end of the year topic - weddings! She questions the necessity of wedding receptions, and this gets Kam and Na’a a bit worried on behalf of her parents. Moving on from that, Kam looks at the difference between problem and dilemma and how they’re presented in movies, using Godzilla (the one featuring Matthew Broderick) as an example. Later in the show, Na’a talks about CGI and wonders whether we have too much of them in our contemporary films.

We're now at the business end of the World Cup in Qatar, with quarter finals looming, as eight teams vie for spots in the semi final. Dubbed as a family-friendly concert for those aged 1 to 100, KLPAC’s long-awaited Christmas Extravaganza concert promises festive cheer as we reflect on 2022, while looking ahead to 2023. This massive concert will bring together more than 150 performers from the klpac Orchestra,  klpac Symphonic Band, and klpac String Orchestra and also the Young Choral Academy Chorus, all under the direction of Ian Chow, and with co-direction and narration by Faridah Merican.
