Audio only, no video, as this was a podcast

Matthew's notes:
I found a link to one of Jonathan Machtemes' videos in the stolenhistory.net forums. I disagree with some of his other conclusions and his criticism of Ewaranon's videos.
However, there are several points of interest in these OBRY hours podcasts ep12 and ep13. The big one is that the terms for morning and evening have been swapped. When the original text indicates daybreak or morning, the current Bibles translate it as evening and also with evening swapped to morning.
This is most evident in the first verses of Genesis, where it says in our translations "there was evening and there was morning, the first day"... which is very confusing. Jonathan is making the case that it should be translated "there was morning and there was evening, the first day" which makes much more sense as it was just established that the light was called day and the darkness night.
Other insights here, too. In the last couple minutes of the podcast, he makes a brief case for the land of Israel (geography of lands described in the Bible) as being in North American instead of Palestine.
