"I didn't have to tell anybody what I was, I just was" - Jill Sobule/7th Grade

On October 12, 2022, Jill Sobule's award nominated, New York Times Critic's Pick autobiographical off Broadway musical F*ck 7th Grade made its world debut on the stage of the wild project theater in New York's East Village at 195 East 3rd Street.

Following numerous sold out extensions and remounts, Sobule announced on April 10th of this year, 2025, that the Original Cast Recording of her hit musical would be released in all formats during the Summer of 2025 on June 6th.

Three weeks later she was dead.

In the summer of 1971, a long haired 24 year old hippie folk singer songwriter by the name David Bowie played the very first Glastonbury Music Festival at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset, England.

On the 30th anniversary of the storied annual summer music festival Bowie returned, and in doing so, reclaimed a legacy long tarnished by two decades of crass commercialism, hollow success and artistic bankruptcy.
