An educator and a journalist for over 25 years, Dr. Buchanan has freelanced for the Los Angeles Times, the LA Weekly, AWP’s The Writer’s Chronicle, Indian Country Today, and The International Review of African American Art. She is also a senior lecturer at Loyola Marymount University. In this episode, titled "Generations & Legacies," Dr. Buchanan discusses the history of multiracialism in the United States and how this past shapes the future.
