The Raiders were inspired last week. Winning can cure a lot of ills within your culture. The Raiders were not winning. It broke.

The pinnacle of sports, work, and in life is winning and having fun. Next, is winning (presumably). Most would rather have fun and less success. Not being successful and not having fun, is the worst.

The AFC playoff picture is a mess. It's possible that 12 teams will be .500 or better after this weekend. AND, the Raiders still have a shot...

Steve and I wax nostalgic about some of our favorite nicknames. Steve contends many of the nicknames were contrived and created by writers to have something to write about and to give life to some players.
