GenErik

I've been itching to get this out to you! Some of these are so fresh they literally came out this week. Some of my current favourite remixes here. I'm coming for your summer Northern Hemisphere!

This is a distillation of everything I am currently vibing on with tropical house: Mozambo, Kungs, JackLNDN, Thomas Jack. Kygo is conspicuously missing, but only because I've pretty much mixed every of his tracks previously.

But to make up for it, how good is that Slaptop track? It's what I imagine Daft Punk would do for tropical house. If you like this mix, you'll probably like my FOUR (!) other tropical house mixes, made before I started this podcast. I might feature them later on if I run out of material, but you can catch the rays here: soundcloud.com/generikmashups/sets/pulau-vibes-5-1-4-hr-tropical

PODCAST NOTE: Now that we are an officially listed podcast it is time to bring this back on schedule: Every weekly episode will now be released Thursday night QLD, Australia time, in time for you to enjoy some great new music over the weekend.

Kicking off the first friend mix, here's an amazing mix from Mitch Marzuola, also known as Acquaintance (@acquaintancetunes), a prolific DJ hailing from Dallas, TX. He's pulled together a mix of just the kind of thing I am into these days: R&B inspired future beats spiced with some chill trap (not the crap trap). You like Cashmere Cat? He's got Cashmere Cat and everything complimentary, finishing off with the latest KILLER release from Lido! Put some GenErik samples in there as well to top it off. Thank you for listening!
