About the Guest: Chaundel Holladay,, the younger sister of Rick Warren, was born and raised in San Jose, California. Their childhood was spent in the small town of Redwood Valley, with only 500 residents. Growing up on a 5-acre property with a pond, Rick would spend his days adventuring on his raft, reminiscent of Tom Sawyer. As Chaundel idolized her older brother, she shared in these fun and hilarious experiences. Both Chaundel and her husband, Tom, also hail from the nearby town of Ukiah and attended high school together. Despite her initial reluctance, Chaundel moved to Southern California for college but swore never to stay. However, fate had different plans, and they were called to Southern California by a higher power around 33 years ago. Since then, Chaundel and her husband have made a home in Southern California, surpassing their time in their beloved Northern California. Chaundel still grapples with this fact but prefers not to dwell on it.
