Before departing back to heaven Jesus prayed for His disciples, what He prayed is what the Father has always desired for humanity; He says that He had manifested God's name to them given to Him out of the world. He said they have kept Your word; they have believed that the Father sent Him. He asked the Father to sanctify them by His truth, and He prayed that they would be one. The Father wants us to be united according to His purpose, which is made known by His word. But what happens when we are united in efforts contrary to the Word of God, which is the will of God. We can get some insight in that from Genesis 11.
