Abram faces his first major test of faith. Faced with famine and fear, he takes matters into his own hands, but God steps in to protect Sarai, preserve the promise, and prove that his plan cannot be stopped by human failure. This story points us forward to Jesus, the one who perfectly kept the promise and secured every blessing for us.
