「And he blessed him and said:

　"Blessed be Abram of God Most High,

　Possessor of heaven and earth;」　　　Amen.

 　Lot, who was living in Sodom, was taken away from all his possessions. When Abram heard about this, he immediately took it back. Then Melchizedek, king of Salem, appeared. He said, “Blessed be Abram.” Abram had been given the faith that all good things come from God the Creator, and so he firmly refused the temptation to feed on the treasures of the king of Sodom.
