We continue in the life of Joseph. Here we see the beginning of his suffering. It is a suffering that will last 13 years. In this time, God will work in Joseph in order that He may work through Joseph. What we will see in this chapter and all that follows is how God prepares a man for great use. In order to be greatly used by God, we must be greatly broken by God.
In all of this, God is sovereign. We can be greatly comforted by the fact that God is in control, and He loves us. God will do everything that is necessary in our life in order that we will be all that God has called us to be.
May God work in us all in order that He would work through us.
