Where do wars and fighting come from among us? James says they come desires for pleasure that war in our own members. He says that we lust and do not have, we murder and covet and cannot obtain. We become jealous and envious of what others have, are doing, and their success. The Bible says that a man cannot lawfully or legally take anything to himself as his own except that which is given him by God. Cain saw that he and his offering was acceptable to God and rather than conform he chose to murder. God offers a solution, will we take it or will we continue in sin?
