「'and the one went out from me,

　and I said, "Surely he is torn to pieces";

　and I have not seen him since.」　　Amen.

 　The children of Jacob's beloved Rachel were Joseph and Benjamin. Joseph was supposed to have died,was supposed to have died, having been torn to pieces by a beast by his brothers. All that remained was his beloved Benjamin. Benjamin, too, was facing hardship. It was a difficult situation for Jacob. But in reality, Joseph was alive, and God's plan was steadily moving forward.
