「"But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry

　with yourselves because you sold me here;

　for God sent me before you to preserve life.」　Amen.

　How surprised the brothers must have been when the Egyptian minister said, “I am Joseph. Sometimes, malice can be God's providence. And then Joseph said The words of today's scripture. They were compassionate words that eased his brothers' feelings of regret. When Joseph was sold into Egypt, when he refused the temptation and was thrown into prison, when he was forgotten for two years even though he had revealed his dream to them, these were difficult days for Joseph, but the words that came out of his mouth were compassion for his brothers.

　May we keep our hearts focused on the Lord's will today...
