Noah was righteous before the LORD through faith in the LORD’s promise. In judgment, the LORD determined to send a flood to make an end of all flesh due to the corruption and violence of sin. In mercy, the LORD promised to save Noah and his family through that same flood. The LORD gave Noah precise dimensions for the ark in which he would be saved, and the LORD gave Noah instruction about the inclusion of animals on that ark for the preservation of all flesh and for the continuation of godly worship.
