We talked about how Abraham told a half truth that Sarah was his sister and didn’t mention the deeper relationship as his wife. We talked about that although Abraham lied out of fear, God still was in covenant with him so he kept him and Sarah safe. We stressed the fact that we should appreciate God showing us all Abraham’s flaws because it gives us hope that if God can use him, he can use you and I as well.  We also talked about lying, that it is wrong to lie and we should not practice lying.
