Mark Maddox joins Jim  for a  discussion of two Gene Roddenberry TV Movie pilots from the early 1970s – “Genesis II” and “Planet Earth,” starring Alex Cord, Mariette Hartley, Majel Barrett, Ted Cassidy, Percy Rodriguez, John Saxon, Diana Muldaur, and Christopher Cary. Both stories deal with a researcher (Cord, Saxon) who is trapped during  a deep space hibernation experiment and found 150 years later after the Earth has suffered a nuclear war.
