What changed about the tree?It changed in Even’s mind. Satan convinced her that she needed it.The cursesGod apparently would visit Adam and Eve.They were ashamed.They made excuses.They blamed others.They blamed the accuser.Sin immediately required the sacrifice of Jesus.Gender roles were redefined.Women would painfully bear children and seek the satisfaction of their husbands.Men would be the provider and servant to the family.The need for rain is met.Man would be the cultivator.He would eat the plants of the field.God drove our man so that he would not eat of the Tree of Life.Is that why we will never find the Garden of Eden?No. The flood would have destroyed it.Genesis 4 – Cain and Abel
Eve obtained a man from the Lord.She now has an attitude of reliance on God.In the course of time …God instructed them to make sacrifices.Cain and Abel brought what they thought were good sacrifices.God has no regard for Cain and his offering.God still wanted Cain to do right.God warned Cain about his sin.We can master sin.“Am I my brother’s keeper?”Can puts himself on equal footing with God.God wants us to rely on Him for everything.Cain’s pride got in the way.God punishes Cain with an unbearable punishment.God takes away what Cain was most proud of.Cain is afraid of being killed.By whom?What mark?Where did Cain’s wife come from?Adam and Eve evidently had more children that are not listed.
