As Genesis rolls on, we see God’s people once again in a mess. Jacob, who is now carrying the promise of God that he would make a great nation through Abraham has a problem. He learns that his daughter Dinah has been forcibly raped by a prince from a neighboring city in Canaan, and now they want her to marry him. Jacob’s sons are outraged by this and take matters into their own hands. How is God going to keep His covenant going when there is consistent sin and strife with His people?
