The word "Impact" has recently started being thrown around a lot, especially in our generation, where all of us are looking for ways to "leave a mark", "disrupt" things etc. without really having started off on/worked on anything at all. From various conversations with people from various walks of life, one thing that I have come to understand is that the word 'Impact' in its simplest form, means how you or your work/craft helps someone. In our generation, the perception of 'Impact' has shifted towards something that has to be BIG in terms of magnitude, it has to be LOUD, it has to allow you to SHOWBOAT. As Arpit points out in this interview, for him, 'Impact' is about doing what you love, doing what gets you excited and helps you grow which will then automatically start leaking into the ecosystem around you through your contributions to your work/art.
