Parenting has often taught me unexpected lessons. Today I share a lesson I learned as I broke up a fight between my toddlers.

Read Romans 12. Have you done an honest inventory of yourself? Do you carry a fake ID to church?

In seasons of darkness, loss, fear, and pain, are you able to trust that God is the Ruler over your life? What would life surrendered to that truth look like?

I have gone through the school of emotional intelligence, and I am happy to say that I have passed at least one test recently with confidence. Today I use an example from my own life to talk about emotions and how it makes such a difference when we learn to acknowledge our emotions, but do not let them control our lives.

I hope this dream isn’t a wish. Today I discuss an odd dream I had last night, and the lesson I learned from it. I talk about the power of getting curious and asking good questions when a friend is struggling, and not stating your own (negative) opinion as a form of comfort.

Who is in your gallery of friends? Think about your friendship circles, and the amount of people who love you- even people that aren’t close to you in this current season of life. God has given us such a great network of relationships to uplift us and support us in both the good and bad times of life. Today I share about my own gallery of friends, and their impact on my life.

What does grace look like in your life? What is clouding your ability to reflect Christ in the way in which we are called? What would it look like to surrender your emotions and hurts to the one who cares, and learn to live with grace as a light before men?

My take on how to beat the residual blues we all seem to be battling, and make 2024 the best year yet.

We have the choice every day to choose what we are cultivating in our lives. What we see grows, and our daily choices and actions are going to affect the fruit that our life garden produces. There are things we can control, and there are things that are better left to God to deal with in His wisdom and judgement.
