Biology Professor Troy Shirangi, PhD, and his student Julia Duckhorn explain the instinctual courting behaviors of a fruit fly and the role of a gene called the dissatisfaction gene. Julia graduated from Villanova with a bachelor’s degree in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience in May 2020 but was able to continue working in Dr. Shirangi’s lab for another year after her graduation.
