Peter, the apostle to the Jews, is the first person to lead a Gentile to Yeshua. For about ten years the Holy Spirit had only fallen on Jewish followers of Yeshua following his death and resurrection and the disciples are astonished when the Holy Spirit falls on Gentiles in Acts 10. God uses Peter to open the doors for everyone, now all people, Jew and Gentile, to join God’s family.
