Whitney Chaffin is originally from East Liverpool, Ohio and moved to South Florida in 2012. Whitney suffered from depression for many years and used volunteering as a way to overcome it. From 2012-2016, in conjunction with Delray Motors, worked with more than 55 non-profits in Palm Beach County to help them raise money and awareness for their causes.

In 2016, Whitney became a Certified Recovery Life Coach and on behalf of Legacy Education, has taught and still teaches thousands of people across the nation about how to use real estate as a way to provide second chances. Her expertise includes housing for people coming out of prison, victims of domestic violence or human trafficking, people with mental or physical disabilities including PTSD or drug and alcohol addiction, for homeless veterans and children in foster care. In 2018, Whitney became a professional speaker, sharing her mission and working across the United States. Most notably, in 2018, Whitney donated $25k to a non-profit called Place of Hope that houses children in foster care to help them build a community center for the children and families who reside on their campus.

She now sits on the advisory board and is an Angel Mom, providing resources to various children in need through the non-profit organization.

During her reign, she was able to travel and speak on behalf of her platform: The importance of advocacy amongst children with disabilities. Katrinia is the face of multiple brands.

Not only is she a pageant queen and model she’s a community activist. This past December Katrinia created the movement #Keepvawarm​. This initiative provides warm items, food, toiletries, and clothing to street-bound homeless individuals.

Due to Covid resources were not available to the homeless community. Instead of complaining Katrinia and her group decided to build tiny houses and pods for the homeless individuals. The tents she provided just weren’t enough.

Katrinia thanks the community for its tremendous support and can’t wait to see the tiny houses in each city. As a Children’s Advocate for a local family shelter Katrinia’s dedication to her community is something she prides herself on. #Keepvawarm

Bukola Somide will be explaining how she got the idea to invent a talking doll as a women computer scientist. We also will be shading light on other women in the tech industry. Who is Bukola Somide? ​Inspirational speaker, Bukola Somide, is inspiring the youth to realize their passion early in order to pursue and excel in their purpose.

Who is Bukola Somide?

Born in Kaduna, Nigeria, she migrated to the United States as a teenager with her family . Having decided to pursue a Computer Science degree as early as 10th grade, that proclamation was realized when she attained a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP). She also acquired a Masters in Technology Management from UMUC and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from PMI. As the founder/CEO of Innovant Technologies LLC, she invented the first-ever Computer Science educational interactive doll, "Somi". Authored "Somi the Computer Scientist: Princess can Code" storybook, and Computer Science Activity Books for girls & boys. With her 501(c)3 nonprofit, CompSci ABC (Computer Science Awareness in Black Communities), she's giving back to the community through her array of educational programs for children, teens, and young adults.

She hopes to create a scholarship fund to provide financial assistance to young minority girls pursuing Computer Science in College.
