Today, Mr. Jeremy E Sherman will break down what it means to be a gentleman and what is a gentleman. Who is Jeremy Sherman? Jeremy Sherman PhD proposes that we need a Gent 4.0 approach. The first gents were landed gentry. The second were people who were kind and polite. 3.0 was generic: Gents bathroom or ladies and gents.

Gent 4.0 is a master of blunt tact, able to maximize their honesty through verbal combat skills that are nonetheless tactful as can be. Gent 4.0 challenges himself with the not-entirely accurate assumption that there's nothing you can't say if you find the right way to say it.

More broadly, Jeremy is a life and social science researcher and writer who studies life cradle to grave, from the origins of life to our grave situation. For a quarter century he has worked closely with Harvard/Berkeley neuroscientist Terence Deacon developing a theory for how life began. And at the other end of the spectrum, Sherman just wrote a book on psychoproctology: Diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of total aholery.

Christopher P. Brown is a former preschool, kindergarten, and 1st-grade teacher. He is also an award-winning researcher, teacher educator, and professor of early childhood education in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Texas at Austin.

His research centers on how education stakeholders across a range of political and educational contexts make sense of and respond to policymakers’ reforms. His most recent two books examine issues surrounding kindergarten. The first, Ready for kindergarten? Freeing yourself from the readiness trap so that you and your child will succeed in kindergarten, seeks to replace any worries families might have about sending their child to kindergarten with wisdom and confidence.

The second, Resisting the kinder-race: Restorying joy to early learning, examines how kindergarten has become a place that races children from skill-to-skill, what that means for children on a day-to-day basis, why it must change, and how everyone in the early childhood and elementary school communities must take part in the reform process.

Across these two books, and all his work, Christopher’s goal is to understand and advocate for early learning environments that foster, sustain, and extend the complex educational, sociocultural, and individual goals and aspirations of teachers, children, and their families.

The History of Brown Family Farms- Patrick Brown is farming on land that his family has owned for generations in a small community called Hecks Grove in southeastern Warren County, North Carolina.

“The farm was established by my great grandfather, Byron C. Brown in 1865. Patrick was next in line. After graduating from Fayetteville State University in 2005 and armed with a degree in Business Administration in Management, he travelled all over the world as a federal contractor and federal employee, working alongside the USDA and other government agencies as an Agriculture Advisor in Afghanistan until 2011, while also managing his dad’s farm.

Patrick is also intent on helping other farmers, especially minority farmers like himself, learn how to utilize their land for the good of the soil and atmosphere; planting and harvesting products that are regenerative, sustainable, environmentally friendly, and healthy for human consumption. “We would like to be the farm that continues to create,” Patrick emphasizes.

“We would like to be one of the largest minority-owned farms; to be able to provide education; to be able to provide funding for food banks; to be able to provide funding and products for herbal medicines; and to be able to team with some of the largest corporations for what we do here, organically, through our various certifications to grow natural products.
