A holiday programme to connect us to our place.

This programme is available to primary schools within the Waitaki District.

We recently hosted a celebration event to announce the Waitaki Whitestone Geopark becoming a UNESCO Global Geopark!

The Waitaki Whitestone Geopark becomes part of the UNESCO Global Geopark network. A first for New Zealand!

The AF8 Roadshow will be at the Oamaru Opera House Tuesday 16 May at 5:30pm.

Vanished World began with the interest and research of staff and students at Otago University.

Today it offers educational insight into the formation of our land and the marine creatures that once lived here.
