Kürzlich unterhielt ich mich mit meinem geschätzten Cacherkollegen Seaspotter über Landkreisfunde. Ich erwähnte in diesem Zusammenhang, dass ich es recht kompliziert fände, herauszufinden, in welchem Landkreis ich mich denn gerade befände, da diese Angabe ja nicht auf dem GPS-Empfänger oder Smartphone in einem Cachelisting angezeigt werden würde. Jetzt gibt es zwar entsprechende Challenge-Caches, bei denen es genau um dieses Thema geht, z.B.

doch das ist für mich eher eine sehr langfristige Herausforderung. Ungeachtet dessen freue ich mich natürlich schon, wenn ich wieder einmal einen Landkreis auf der Karte rot einfärben kann. Doch wie kann ich nun mit Hilfe meines GPS-Empfängers unterwegs feststellen, in welchem Landkreis ich gerade bin? Der nachfolgende Screencast zeigt mithilfe von GSAK und Verwendung des County-Feldes eine Lösungsmöglichkeit hierzu auf.
