Thomas Zahler's Time and Vine and a Whole Lot More
George celebrates our penultimate episode with writer, artist, creator, and all-around good guy, Thomas Zahler. Thom is the creative force behind Love and Capes, Long Distance, Time and Vine, and the ongoing webcomic Warning Label available on Webtoons and www.bit.ly/warninglabel. Time and Vine just wrapped up and the collected edition will be available from IDW Publishing in February 2018, just in time for Valentine's Day. George talks to Thom about the creative process, the research behind Time and Vine, the comic con circuit, and why he lives in the House That Meredith Bought. Plus, how could we have an episode about wine the week of Thanksgiving and not offer some suggestions for the holidays?
For all things Thom Zahler, please check out his website www.thomz.com and follow him on Twitter @thomzahler.
And don't forget to join us next week for our 200th, and final, episode of The George and Tony Entertainment Show.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Stay tuned to the end of the show for an announcement about our upcoming special 200th episode, scheduled to post the Monday after Thanksgiving.
Deck The Halls With Kevin Starkey
You have heard his name mentioned on the show for no reason whatsoever over the past few weeks. It has been a mysterious ear worm, a curious subplot, a question you didn't even know you wanted answered. Well, get ready everybody, because this week you meet Kevin Starkey at last!
George introduces you to his guest co-host and our heroes discuss Halloween Comic Fest Crud, cosplaying, Inktober, social anxiety, Toast Masters, comic books, and, of course, the Hallmark Channel's Countdown To Christmas movie marathon.
Has your interest been piqued? As a result of this episode, Kevin revamped his website, http://2dogknight.com, which includes links to his You Tube content from a few years ago as mentioned on the show.
We apologize for the buzz on our audio this week. Unfortunately, it wasn't Buzz Burbank.
Middleburg Film Festival 2017
Happy Halloween! The Hallmark Channel's Countdown To Christmas movie marathon is in full swing and film critic, podcaster, and Creative Manager of Alamo Cinema Drafthouse in Ashburn, VA, Bryan Loy, returns to the guest co-host director's chair to talk about The Middleburg Film Festival (https://middleburgfilm.org). Bryan and George talk about the movies they saw including Call Me By Your Name, Darkest Hour, and Lady Bird. Plus, Bryan met legendary film critic Ann Hornaday, George met local newscaster Andrea McCarren and he may or may not have met actor Griffin Dunne. All this plus George attends a screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show hosted by Bryan himself.
Bryan is a frequent guest on www.epicfilmguys.podbean.com and he co-hosts their sister show called B-Sides with Epic Film Guy Justin. Check 'em out and let them know George and Tony sent you.

Retail Therapy
Yes, we are well aware the Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas Movie Marathon begins on Friday, October 27 but, believe it or not, we don't even mention it on this week's episode. Instead, guest co-host Rob Shade returns to talk to George about the California fires, retail etiquette, Disneyland's Animation Academy, Battle of the Sexes, and some television shows.
Next week: Middleburg Film Festival 2017. Please join us...and invite your friends this week and every week. You never know who you'll meet or what you'll learn on The George and Tony Entertainment Show.
The Perils and Perversions of Riverdale
Artist Rodney Roberts had so much fun on last week's show that he couldn't wait to return to sit in the guest co-host chair yet again this week. Rodney changed his tune on Star Trek: Discovery, George saw Battle of the Sexes, both of our heroes read some comics, and what the heck is going on in Riverdale? Plus, All Star Comic Con is coming to the Sheraton in Tysons Corner, VA June 15-17, 2018 and the Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas Movie Marathon starts October 27, 2017. Bring it on!
For all things Rodney Roberts, check him out on Facebook and Instagram at iongraphx. Hey, we got it right this time...we hope.

Podcasting Trinity
Eric from Longbox Review (www.longboxreview.com) returns to the guest co-host hot seat and brings along another veteran of podcasting - Peter Rios from The Daily Rios (www.thedailyrios.com). Peter was one of the original hosts of Comic Geek Speak and he has now teamed up with Eric for another podcast called The Legion Project. The Legion Project examines the famed "Baxter run" of the Legion of Superheroes from the mid-80s. Check it out on each of their iTunes feeds (subscribe to Longbox Review and The Daily Rios on iTunes and tell 'em George and Tony sent you).
This week we get to know Peter from his podcasting pedigree to his work in the theater. Eric gives us his thoughts on Star Trek: Discovery and the Hamilton soundtrack. And George...well, George is just along for the ride.
First there was Harvey, then there was Irma, and now Hurricane Maria has devastated Puerto Rico. Please check out www.redcross.org to find out how you can help those affected by these natural disasters.
Birthdays, Bees, and Battles
Rob Shade won't let a little alliteration prevent him from returning to the show as a guest co-host. George tells the tale of his trip to New York, Rob reminds us he may or may not have made the cut in the recently released film Battle of the Sexes, and our heroes see two miraculous movies.
All this plus the Emmys, Twin Peaks, and George's wife gets stung by a bee!
Please use the Amazon link at www.georgeandtony.com for all your online shopping needs including pumpkin spice, early Christmas gifts, and meat tenderizer. Listen to the show and that last item will make a lot more sense.
